Earthchild Remedies is a community-centred company, founded in 2022 by Bekah Williams that explores wellbeing through practices that seek to re-connect Global Majority and queer communities back to the land, reclaim ancestral plant knowledge and practices to support mental, physical and spiritual health.
While rooted in these communities, session and services are open to all.
Bekah (she/her) is a British-Jamaican Western and Caribbean Herbalist, Wellbeing and Menstrual Health Practitioner, Urban Foraging, Sacred Circle and Visual Arts Facilitator, Environmental Educator, Cultural Producer and Photographer / Creative.
She is currently studying with The Plant Medicine School in Ireland to gain her licensed Medical Herbalist qualification and Jamaican Maroon herbalism through ongoing mentorship with Herbalist Ivelyn Harris in Cornwall Baracks, Jamaica. As well as working to become a qualified Womb Massage Therapist.
Bekah is a huge advocate for assisting and inspiring Black, Brown and other Global Majority and queer communities to return to nature.
In the UK, these communities are affected the most by mental health related issues whilst having the least access to services and practices that could change this. Earthchild Remedies is about creating accessible spaces, sharing knowledge and bringing people together to allow individuals of all ages, genders, sexualities and faiths to have autonomy over their health and wellbeing.
This currently takes the form of urban foraging walks, online and in-person herbalism workshops, somatic movement, sound baths and meditative workshops. As well as inclusive menstrual health and environmental education with a range of age groups.
Earthchild Remedies is committed to anti-racist, decolonial, trans-inclusive and queer- affirming practice & welcome all ages, faiths and cultures.
Please get in contact if you have any accessibility concerns.
