Womb ecology: of land and water (5 part workshop series)

Womb Ecology: of Land and Water was born through my work as a herbalist and moon circle facilitator, encountering and supporting people navigating painful cycles, hormonal imbalance, emotional overwhelm, and a deep longing for more holistic, ancestral ways of understanding their bodies and cycles.

Alongside this work, a question kept returning:

How can deepening our understanding of menstrual cycle wisdom and womb care help us become better advocates for the land, our communities, and ourselves?

Through ecological thinking, ancestral knowledge, and lived experience, the womb is understood not as a problem to fix, but as a living landscape. One shaped by soil, water, nourishment, movement, story, pleasure, and care.

This 5-part in-person course invites us to reconnect with the womb and pelvic region as an ecosystem and to explore how tending to our inner landscapes mirrors how we tend to the Earth. Whilst providing gender-inclusive education and demystifying the menstrual cycle to promote better health and wellbeing.

It will be held between March-May 2026

The series journey:

( Session 1) Opening Circle: Introduction To Womb Ecology

Understanding the womb as a cyclical, seasonal landscape.

Demystifying the different menstrual phases and exploring herbs that support us physically, emotionally, and spiritually across the month. Starting with a tea meditation and a closing sound bath.

(Session 2) Nourishing the Soil

A deep dive into our hormonal and internal landscape.

Connecting soil health, food systems, biodiversity, gut health, and the womb/pelvis. Also exploring how to eat in alignment with each menstrual phase for optimal health. Includes clay-based pelvic care practices.

(Session 3) Hidden Stories of the Land

Exploring different issues such as endometriosis, fibroids, cysts, PCOS and more through physical, hormonal, emotional, energetic, and spiritual lenses. Opening space for reflection, journaling, and honest dialogue around the stories held in the womb/pelvis. We’ll learn what herbs can support us and end with a sound bath.

(Session 4) The Language of Water

Understanding blood, lymph, and water as life-giving flow.

Exploring womb/pelvic stagnation, circulation and pelvic vitality through herbs, movement and embodied practices.

Includes creating a collective pelvic steam blend.

(Session 5) The Ecology of Desire & Sovereignty

Exploring boundaries, pleasure, sensuality, safety, and support.

Connecting the womb/pelvis and heart through practices rooted in desire, beauty, ritual, care and sensory exploration.

Ending with a closing circle and group reflection.

This course is designed as a 5-part journey, each session building on the last. With a cohort of 15 wonderful beings taking the journey together.

Kez camps

Founded in 2016, Kez Camps is a grassroots community initiative open to all but with a priority on creating safe spaces for BIPOC and marginalised communities to enjoy camping and outdoor activities.

We acknowledge the impact nature has on our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being and encourage our campers to step out of their comfort zones and engage in activities that facilitate self-reflection, growth and healing. Ultimately unplugging, to reconnect.

Kez Camps annual getaway is held in the beautiful hills of Dorset overlooking the ocean along the Jurassic coast. Offering a long weekend of adventure filled with breathtaking scenery, two wholesome workshops, Durdle Door trek and beach day, ocean water sports and nightly campfire socials.

Whether you’re seeking a peaceful introverted romp in nature or a social-butterfly-friendly frolic packed with activities, we got something for you.

The trip is specifically designed to allow campers as much freedom as possible thus avoiding any rigid schedule truly emphasising “slowing down.”

We will have a minimum of two loosely planned group activities over the weekend and campers are encouraged to pursue their own relaxation time.
